Live Streaming of The Hobbit World Premiere

On 28 November the lucky few (thousand) may be in Wellington enjoying the world premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but the rest of us don’t need to miss out!

We’re starting to hear of where there will be live streaming from Wellington of the red carpet interviews and events.

You will now be able to watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey World Premiere LIVE from Wellington, New Zealand on the Middle-earth Network at www.HobbitMovieDay.com! See our recent news post for timezones and information.

In the US, NowLive will be streaming the premiere from 10:30pm EST on Tuesday, November 27 / 7:30pm PST on Tuesday, November 27.

And in Germany the cinema group Cinemaxx have announced that they will also have a live-stream of both the world premiere in Wellington on 28 November and the London premiere on 12 December.

The film-makers and cast confirmed for the red carpet so far are:

Sir Peter Jackson (Director, Writer, Producer), Fran Walsh (Writer, Producer), Philippa Boyens (Writer, Producer), Martin Freeman (Bilbo Baggins), Andy Serkis (Second Unit Director, Gollum), Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield), Aidan Turner (Kili), Dean O’Gorman (Fili), Adam Brown (Ori), Jed Brophy (Nori), Mark Hadlow (Dori), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), William Kircher (Bifur), James Nesbitt (Bofur), John Callen (Oin), Peter Hambleton (Gloin), Graham McTavish (Dwalin), Cate Blanchett (Galadriel), Hugo Weaving (Elrond), Sylvester McCoy (Radagast the Brown), Barry Humphries (Goblin King) and Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins).

I’m sure these are just the first of many that will provide live streaming of the premiere.  Do tell us if you know of any others.
