Air New Zealand has released a new video called “The Magic Making of Middle-earth” that shows off some of the beautiful locations that were used to film The Hobbit movies.
“It’s a totally magical place,” said James Nesbitt, who plays Bofur. “I can’t imagine this film taking place anywhere else.”
Richard Armitage said, “I could have spent this entire shoot on location. It was just over too soon.”
Locations include Strath Taieri, Mount Cook, and Matamata.
“How could New Zealand not bewitch anyone who visits?” asked Ian McKellen.
