Bret McKenzie, the Flight of the Conchords star who is cast in The Hobbit movies as the elf Lindir, talks of how his father and brother make an appearance in The Hobbit films. Unfortunately, his younger brother was not old enough to play a part in the movies, which caused some family tension.
Bret also says how he thinks a Lord of the Rings theme park would be fun!
