Vanderbilt University Offers Online Gaming Course

This September, Vanderbilt University is offering an exciting seven-week course in online gaming, called “Online Games: Literature, New Media, and Narrative.” Its primary focus being on The Lord of the Rings and its popular MMO adaption, this course seeks to examine the relationship between art and literature and the medium of online gaming.

No previous experience in LOTRO is required; in fact, you don’t even need to download the game (which is free-to-play) in order to take this course. Whether you’re a hardcore LOTRO player or just someone who would like to learn more about video games…
