Berlin Premiere News for ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’

timthumbThe European premiere of  The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be held at the Sony Centre, Cinestar in Berlin on 9 December, 2013. The red carpet event will start at 17.30 pm local time.

Guests attending include director Peter Jackson and the actors Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage, Evangeline Lilly, Luke Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sylvester McCoy, Mikael Persbrandt, Aidan Turner, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt, Adam Brown, Graham McTavish, Dean O’Gorman, Ryan Gage and John Bell according to Red Carpet Reports.  Ed Sheeran, who sings the films theme song “I See Fire”, is also expected to attend.

As yet there is no news of whether the event will be live streamed for fans around the world.
