  1. Jose Pasillas says:

My favorite quote or words of wisdom:

    “Never laugh at live dragons.”
    ― J.R.R. Tolkien

My favorite art by Tolkien is Smaug lying on top of gold

  2. Krystin Detita says:

    Quotes:
    1. “Above all shadows rides the sun.”

    2. “End? No, it doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one which we must all take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all change to silver glass… And then you see it… White shores, and beyond, a far green country, under a swift sunrise.”

    3. “Fair speech may hide a foul heart.”

    4. “Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”

  3. Hi,
my favorite quote is “Oft hope is born when all is forlorn.”. I translated this into Sindarin and engraved a ring with it. During a hard time I had to go through this ring helped me not to give up hope.
My favorite artwork actually are the different scriptures Tolkien created. I love the fact that the important races each not only have their own language but also the corresponding letters.
But if you ask me for a picture, I have to say my favorite artwork is “The Hill – Hobbiton across the Water”. Each time I looked at this picture I dreamed of wandering in these lovely green hills without even believing that such a place really exists. ..until last October, when I finally visited the Hobbiton movie set and found this picture in reality. The feeling standing “in this picture” was amazing!
    Have a nice day!
