Just over a year ago we found out that, on the last day of filming The Hobbit, the cast were given their own LEGO figures. The Hobbit facebook page showed pictures of the actors with their figures, but some of the dwarves were missing. There were no pictures of James Nesbitt (Bofur), Stephen Hunter (Bombur), Ken Stott (Balin) or Aidan Turner (Kili).
Imagine my delight then, when Middle-earth News reader @XxSonny sent me the Blogbusters interview with Aidan Turner and Dean O’Gorman which included pictures of them with their LEGO figures at the Zurich premiere of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Commenting on his Lego figure last year Aidan said “It’s weird, Hobbit Lego figures have just come out and we were given one of them. It’s pretty surreal.”
