Teenager, Jaynaa, dreamt of meeting The Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood and now, thanks to Kids Wish Network, her dream has come true.
Elijah met Jaynna, who suffers from Rasmussen’s Encephalitis, when Kids Wish Network sent her on an all expenses paid trip to Los Angeles. Jaynna’s mum, Joy, said, “Elijah was very attentive to her; he was very down to earth and so good with her!” Although Jaynaa was awestruck at first, Elijah soon put her at her ease. Joy said, “Teasingly, he reached over and took some french fries off of her plate. That blew her mind – she thought it was so wonderful!” Elijah signed Jaynaa’s diary for her and she gave him a teddy bear and a Kids Wish Network Guardian Angel coin. “He really liked that!” Jaynaa said.
