Sean Bean and Stephen Fry Recite Poetry for WWI Album

Sean Bean, known for his portrayal of Boromir in The Lord of the Rings, and Stephen Fry, portraying the Master of Laketown in The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug, are both part of an album containing spoken word and music to commemorate the centenary of the First World War.

On the album, Sean Bean will recite Anthem for Doomed Youth by Wilfred Owen while Stephen Fry will read In Flanders Fields by John McCrae. Other notable contributions include David Cameron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Danny Dyer, and Dan Snow.

The centenary album, titled Forever, will raise money for veterans’ charities the Royal British Legion and The Victoria Cross Trust. In the UK, the release date will be July 14th and can be pre-ordered on amazon.co.uk.
