Weta Workshop has just released a new statue for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Bolg the Orc, sculpted by Gary Hunt and Greg Tozer. The son of Azog the Defiler looks even more terrible and dangerous than in the movie! The dimensions are14.6″ x 10.6″ x 6.7″ (H x W x D) 37 cm x 27 cm x 17 cm and it weights 2.9 lbs (1.3 kg).

From Weta Workshop

Spawn of the dreaded Orc chieftain Azog™, whom they call the Defiler, Bolg is a towering brute with slashed skin, a rotted stub for a nose, and a baleful, single-eyed stare.
Crudely bound with strips of torn and bolted steel, Bolg’s shattered skull is home to cruel intelligence, no less ugly than his riven visage.
Tall for his kind, he looms menacingly over the lesser Orc minions under his command. As a lieutenant in service to the shadowy Necromancer, Bolg scours the wilderness between Dol Guldur and the ancient Orc fortress at Gundabad.

This statue costs $279.00 USD and is a Limited Edition piece of 1,000 and is available now on Weta Workshop’s website!
