Tolkien Reading Day 2017 Fun!

Tolkien Reading Day is almost upon us! March 25th each year is set aside to honor the work of J. R. R. Tolkien (and celebrate the Gondorian New Year and the downfall of Sauron as well).

Initiated in 2003 by the Tolkien Society, Tolkien Reading Day is organized around a particular theme each year. This year’s theme is “Poetry and Songs in Tolkien’s Fiction.”

Middle-earth News joins in the Tolkien Reading Day celebrations each year. We have some surprises in store for this year’s celebration, so be sure to keep watching here as we approach the big day itself! Hint: there will be giveaways involved! We won’t spoil the surprises just yet, but we are happy to be partnering with our friends at Oloris Publishing for something very special. So for now — keep it secret, keep it safe!

What will you be reading on March 25?
