Sir Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman, Andy Serkis and Luke Evans joined other members of the cast of The Hobbit in a trip to see the play Beautiful Burnout on 3 March. Beautiful Burnout is all about boxing, with choreographed work-outs and bouts. It is written by Bryony Lavery and is a co-production at the New Zealand International Arts Festival between Frantic Assembly and the National Theatre of Scotland. Afterwards there was a function where the cast of Beautiful Burnout met their Hobbit audience.
