A new set of photos of Hobbiton have been released showing the village from the air. The pictures can be seen on the Daily Mail Online.
The set, which was used in the films The Lord of the Rings, has been rebuilt for The Hobbit only this time it is planned for the buildings to remain as a tourist attraction. It is estimated that some 200.000 people have visited the set in New Zealand since 2002 with even greater numbers expected in the wake of The Hobbit.
The Hobbit is being filmed in two parts with part 1 An Unexpected Journey scheduled for release on 14 December 2012.
