Hobbit actors Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch won best supporting actor and best actor awards, respectively, at the Specsavers Crime Thriller Awards last night, for their roles in the television drama Sherlock.
The pair joined actors such as Steven Berkoff and Rupert Penry-Jones at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, for the gala awards ceremony reports Booktrade.info
Sherlock, which stars both Martin and Benedict, won best TV crime thriller and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, which stars Benedict won best film.
The event will be shown in the UK on ITV3 at 9pm on 23 October
