Among all of the famous and soon-to-be famous faces will be 15 year-old Tessla Grunwald from Wanganui, New Zealand. She won the grand prize from a radio competition and will be taking her mother, Tanja Grunwald, for a stroll down the red carpet.
“We’re staying at the same hotel as all the guests and we all get picked up together for the premiere,” Tessla said. “The walk down the carpet takes about two hours and we’re expected to mix and mingle as we go.”
Tanja told the Wanganui Chronicle, “I know Tessla can’t wait and even I’m getting nervous.”
Tessla really hopes to meet some Hobbit actors; top on her list are Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, and Elijah Wood.
