Peter Jackson has reaffirmed that he would like to direct an episode of the TV series Dr Who.
In an exclusive interview with EW The Hobbit director confirmed his intent and even named his fee: a Dalek!
Peter, who last year expressed an interest in directing an episode, has assured the executive producer of Dr Who, Steven Moffat, that he is serious.
“They don’t even have to pay me. But I have got my eye on one of those nice new gold-colored Daleks. They must have a spare one (hint, hint).”
In response, Moffat said that he is open to the idea of Jackson directing an episode of the show.
“We’re theoretically on board for anything provided we’ve got a great story.”
