Sir Ian McKellen, Martin Freeman and Adam Brown represented The Hobbit at the ceremony which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
Sir Ian collected the award for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy on behalf of the Middle-earth team.
Martin Freeman accepted his award jokingly saying,
“I always wondered if it was possible to quantify the best actor, and now I realise that it is, and it’s me! What a load of old rubbish I was in with,”
