The Hobbit Is Back On Top

The_Hobbit_AUJ_DVD_cover_marqueeThe Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey is back at No.1 in the charts for DVD and Blu-ray sales in the US.

The film, which has been out in the US for four weeks, went to the top spot in it’s first week of sales and then sat at No.3 for the following two weeks.  But for the week ending 14 April it’s back at No.1 in both the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert chart, which charts all disc sales in the US and in Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart.

 

The top 5 films in the FirstAlert Chart were:

  1. The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey
  2. The Bible: The Epic Miniseries
  3. Lincoln
  4. Les Miserables
  5. Wreck-It Ralph

The highest new entry in the First Alert chart was The Sorcerer and the White Snake, which came in at No.10 says The Hollywood Reporter
