Richard Armitage, who plays Thorin in The Hobbit, talks to IGN about the trilogy.
Watch the interview with IGN here.
He reveals that, like the fans, he is desperate to see Smaug in the coming movie The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. He says that there is little room for comedy in the next two films as the story gets darker and confirms that there is another ten weeks of filming to be done. Filming is expected to start in May.
The second film in The Hobbit trilogy, The Desolation of Smaug, is due for release on 13 December 2013.
