For those of you who enjoy playing video games on your Mac, a new release is coming your way! The Lord of the Rings: War in the North will be published by Feral Interactive and released on Mac systems on August 29.
The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a multiplayer RPG developed by Snowblind Studios in which players can choose between the Ranger Eradan, the Elf Andriel, and the Dwarf Farin and embark on either a solo or co-op adventure through Middle-earth. It has been out since November 2011, but has only been available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
At the end of this month, however, it will be available for direct download online via Feral Interactive, as well as a variety of sellers, for $29.99 in the US (£19.99 in the UK and €24.99 throughout Europe).
“Middle Earth is one of the most captivating fictional worlds ever created,” said David Stephen, Managing Director at Feral Interactive. “The Lord of the Rings: War in the North gives players the chance to explore its more mysterious corners as brand-new characters.”
