Helm’s Deep Now Available for Pre-Order

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced today that Helm’s Deep, the next expansion from Turbine’s The Lord of the Rings Online, will be released on November 18.

Helm’s Deep offers such new features as:

• Experience the Battle for Helm’s Deep – Beginning at level 10, players can join the fight to defend Helm’s Deep and earn rewards for their contribution
• Explore new landscapes in Western Rohan (such as Edoras, Dunharrow, and the Hornburg)
• Advance to the new level cap (95) with new skills and updated class specialisations
• Continue the epic story and encounter characters like Éowyn and Éomer, and help restore King Théoden to the throne

Beginning today, players can pre-purchase the Helm’s Deep expansion in one of two versions:

PREMIUM EDITION 

The Premium Edition ($59.99, €53,99, £44.99) allows players access to all Helm’s Deep content and includes the following bonus items:

• Armour of the Hammerhand – an exclusive full set of Rohirrim cosmetic armour
• +10 quest log slots
• Crystal of Remembrance – adds one additional legacy to your legendary weapon
• Helm’s Deep Title – Helm’s Enforcer
• Helm’s Deep Title – Helm’s Avenger
• 2000 Turbine points

Pre-purchasers will also receive these items which can be used immediately in the game:

• Shield of the Hammerhand (Statted Cloak +25%XP, scales to level of wearer)
• Exclusive War-steed Bundle (The Steed of the Hammerhand) – an exclusive Rohirrim mount with matching War-Steed appearance

BASE EDITION

The Base Edition ($39.99, €35,99, £29.99) also features all Helm’s Deep content. Included items are:
