The extended edition is available in the US from 5 November and in the UK from 11 November, although a digital download is available from 22 October, 2013.

Evie was introduced to Tolkien's work by her boyfriend, over a beer in the Eagle and Child pub in Oxford. She went home, read the books and, a while later, married her boyfriend.
