A beautiful Lord of the Rings mosaic is now on permanent display at the Penkridge Library in England to celebrate the area’s links with The Professor. The library invited residents, school children, groups, and young offenders from HMYOI Brinsford to get involved in designing the piece, jointly funded by Staffordshire Library Service, the Prisons Library Service and a £500 donation from County Councillor David Williams’ Local Community Fund. Imagine That! Theatre Company in Langley, British Columbia have just raised the curtain on their two-week run of their stage adaptation of The Hobbit. The cast have been rehearsing together since July and features some great young talent, so it promises to be an enchanting performance. Additional performance dates are Friday, March 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays, March 1 and 8 and Sundays, March 2 and 9 at 2:30 p.m. each day.
