Star of The Hobbit films, Aidan Turner, has donated a special bottle of wine to a charity auction for the Dingle Film Festival in Ireland. The bottle of New Zealand Pinot Noir 2012 was given to Aidan by Peter Jackson when filming on the trilogy wrapped.
The Hobbit Wine is in a presentation box, crafted by Weta Workshop, along with a gold coin from the film set. Only thirteen of the were made (one for each dwarf I’m guessing). It is signed by Aidan who plays the young dwarf, Kili, in the films.
The auction is on Friday 14 March, 2014 at the Dingle Film Festival’s Gala Fundraising Event at The Dingle Distillery. Other items to be auctioned include:
Michael Fassbender signed portrait and signed GQ Cover Story
