Although LEGO: The Hobbit has finally made its debut, the game currently features content from the first two films. According to UK LEGO fansite Brick Fanatics, the game’s developer, Traveler’s Tales, will launch a downloadable addition to the storyline in conjunction with the third Hobbit movie, The Hobbit: There and Back Again (to hit theatres on December 17).
Traveler’s Tales has released DLC for some of its previous LEGO games, though the additions have been minor in comparison to the proposed DLC for its Hobbit game.
LEGO: The Hobbit made its debut on Tuesday and currently offers three downloadable packs: the purchasable Side Quest Character DLC Pack and the pre-order bonuses The Big Little Character Pack and The Battle Pack.
LEGO: The Hobbit is available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Vita handheld, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
