Graham McTavish, who plays the dwarf Dwalin in The Hobbit, is doing the Kiltwalk in Edinburgh to raise money for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
The Kiltwalk has three distances but Graham and his team are doing the full kilt, which is a walk of 26 miles. Now, I don’t know if Graham is actually going to be wearing a kilt for the walk but, when I spoke to him at Wales Comic Con I did kind of assume he was. He told me his kilt is made of McTavish Hunting tartan and explained how, far from being hot to walk in, it was actually quite pleasant because of the circulating breeze.
