The Summer Festival is here! While we’ve decided to talk about the festival itself next week, we thought we would share some of our favourite summer styles this week!
ALICE
Summer Festival means new cosmetics for all my characters! While I’m waiting to gain enough tokens to dress all of them, I started planning new Summer type outfits for two of my characters.
My Hobbit Hunter wears:
- Short-sleeved Summer Dress (dyed white)
- Treasure Hunter’s Satchel
- Thick Quilted Hat
- Mathom Long-sleeved Tunic and Trousers
- Treasure Hunter’s Rucksack
- Wide-brimmed Spring Hat (dyed gold)
My Dwarf Rune-keeper wears:
- Short-sleeved Summer Tunic and Trousers (dyed steel blue)
- Treasure Hunter’s Rucksack
BRITTA
I love basing my characters’ outfits around their heritage, profession, class, season, etc. However, one season that always stumps me is summer. It is my least favourite time of year and so I tend to keep my characters in casual spring/autumn attire. I bartered for some summer festival cosmetics last year, so I’ve used some of those this time around.
My rune-keeper, Beruthien wears the following:
- Harvest-brew circlet
- Summerdays cloak (dyed black)
- Summerdays dress (dyed black)
- Rock-climber’s armour set (for combat)
And my guardian, Brondolfur, is wearing:
- Fisherman’s shirt and waders
- Mariner’s hat and eyepatch
- Dwarf-make prospector’s pack
- Potent Calenard war pauldrons
MYLA
Another festival means a closet full of new outfits for my guardian! It also means that my alts will be working their butts off to get her as many new cosmetics as possible. She’s the spoiled one.
Since the summer fest involves a lot (A LOT) of fishing, I thought I’d give in and put together an outfit for it. I have one with a dress and one with a tunic, depending on her mood.
- Innkeeper’s dress (dyed Sienna)
- Long-sleeved Summer Tunic and Trousers (dyed Sienna)
- Fisher’s Backpack (dyed Umber)
- Straw hat
The other two outfits are mostly just casual… for when she’s at the market or at a cookout with friends, you know, the usual.
