Middle-earth News contributor Sébastien Sigaut got a chance to sit down with award-winning author and photographer Ian Brodie in a little coffee shop in New Zealand a few months ago. Brodie is the author of the The Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook and the much anticipated The Hobbit Location Guidebook.
We’ll have to wait until November 15, 2014 for the Hobbit guidebook to be released, but while you wait, you can grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a chat with the man who has traveled throughout Middle-earth (and Narnia and all over the world). In this audio interview, Brodie shares his favorite locations from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, which countries he loves to photograph, and his upcoming film-related projects.
A special thanks to Sébastien for sharing his interview! He transcribed some of the audio in French for his website jaimepaslactu.com.
If you need some images to look at while you’re listen to Brodie speak, thumb through your own copy of The Lord of the Rings Location Guidebook or peruse the many gorgeous photos on IanBrodie.net.
