With less than one month until New York Comic Con, people have been clamoring to find out what panels will be offered and which of their favorite celebrities and artists will attend. For those of you going to this convention we have some good new for you! Doug Adams, author of The Music of the Lord of the Rings Films, recently posted on Twitter that he and Howard Shore will be guests at New York Comic Con on Thursday, October 9.

The “Lord of the Rings: The Music of Middle-earth” panel will be from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm on October 9 in room 1A18. You will get to hear discussions first hand from Howard and Doug about the music from the LOTR and The Hobbit trilogies! The panel will focus on the past, present, and future of the modern masterpieces. This is a panel you definitely don’t want to miss, so if you are attending NYCC on October 9, be sure to head on over to 1A18 to learn more about the music we all hold near and dear to our hearts.
