If you’ve been wondering what to expect from the additional material on the extended edition of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug then a little browse through the recent classifications of films by the British Board of Film Classification may enlighten you.
For the last couple of weeks the BBFC have been classifying films under the title of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug -Extended Edition [Additional Material] so, although we’ve no confirmation from Warner Brothers, it does seem reasonable to infer that these films may be on the edition due out in November (3 November UK and 4 November US).
