Dragon Con 2015 Breaks Records!

An almost eerie quiet has descended on downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Dragon Con 2015 is now history, and it was one for the books! Dragon Con today released its attendance total: just over 70,000! That number is up from last year’s count of 63,000.

Each year, Dragon Con chooses a charity to support with fundraising efforts during the con. This year’s charity is the Lymphoma Research Foundation. The preliminary total raised so far is $100,000, but Dragon Con organizers expect that number to continue to rise as later donations are included.

A blood drive was also conducted throughout the con. A report of those totals will be forthcoming.
