It’s no dream – the box set all fans have been waiting for is here! A complete Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Limited Collector’s Edition Blu-ray box set is in the works, and according to Amazon, it will be available this Fall.
I say “fall” because there seems to be some confusion as to when it will actually be available. There are two current listings on Amazon right now giving very different release dates. The first one states the release date is October 4, 2016, however, does not state a price for the set. The second listing says you can pre-order now and the title will be released on November 1, 2016. It also lists the price of the set – a whopping $799.99!
Either way, we are talking 30 glorious discs that not only include all of the original extended edition content, but some new gems as well. Such as your own Red Book of Westmarch! See below for official set details:
