Graham McTavish, our beloved Dwalin, is launching his directorial career with This Guest of Summer. Graham will also star in the film and will be joined by fellow dwarves Dean O’Gorman (Fili) and Adam Brown (Ori)!
The story of the film is described as follows:
“This Guest of Summer” tells the story of three actor friends – Mallory, Michael and Chris – who are using their all too frequent ‘resting’ time to do a spot of decorating for their more successful, Los Angeles based friend Mel. Mel’s recent acquisition is a cottage in the sleepy backwater village of Flossom. Unfortunately, the three take a wrong turn, and end up in the village of Blossom. None the wiser for their mistake, and with the conviction of thinking they are where they should be, the three settle into Keeper’s Cottage. What they didn’t expect to find on their doorstep was an all male population looking like they had just stepped out from a grim Dickens novel. For the locals, the arrival of the three has coincided with ‘The Cleansing of the Village’, and the locals are not best happy at the strangers’ intrusion into their fold.
