Weta Reveals ‘Hobbit’ World Premiere Merchandise

Weta Workshop is celebrating the World Premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in Wellington, New Zealand with two exclusive products!

These items will only be available to residents of New Zealand and those who journey there for the premiere. They are available to order online at the Weta Shop (to New Zealand shipping addresses) or to purchase in person at the Weta Cave or select NZ retailers.

Both items feature Bag End, the place where the unexpected journey starts for the hobbit Bilbo Baggins and his companions.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey World Premiere Pin

The pin is engraved on the front with the front door of Bag End, the logo for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and the date of the World Premiere, 28-11-2012.

The reverse features the Weta logo bug and the words “World Premiere Wellington, New Zealand” as well as a copyright statement.

The t-shirt is forest green, and the front shows the front door of Bag end and the logo for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
