Surely every Tolkien fan has, at one point or another, fantasised about living in a Hobbit hole. With Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit continuing to grow in popularity, businesses are stepping up to the plate and turning this dream into reality.
But what about those of us who might prefer to live high up in the trees like the Elves of Lothlórien?
Well, there may be hope!
When you look at Anthony Gibbon’s Roost Treehouses, the first thing you’ll notice is that these treehouses conjure up images of the Elven realm. Resting high up in the trees, they are designed with the intention of blending in with their surroundings.
According to Gibbon’s website, “Each capsule has a central spiral staircase leading up to an outdoor platform. This connects to the adjoining pod allowing access into the next structure as well as providing additional support to the overall structures.”
Though these are currently just designs, we would love to see something like this become a reality!
What do you think? Would you live in a Lothlórien-style treehouse?
