If you live in the US, then you’d better be heading to your nearest store, because today’s the day you can get your hands on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
It’s available in several formats, one even including a free Lego Bilbo Baggins! (Only available at Target.) I went for the cheap DVD version, as I know I’m going to want to shell out some serious cash for the extended edition, once released.
Having now bought the movie, I’ve received a secret code which will allow me to view Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Sneak Peek, set to go live this Sunday, March 24, at 3pm EST. These secret codes have brought up some serious questions from those not residing in the US, as their DVD/Blu-ray release dates fall much later than the #Hobbit2SneakPeek date and time.
However, now it seems there is a way around it. Those out side of the US who have pre-ordered The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Blu-ray only) through Amazon UK, have indeed received a secret code, thus giving them access to Sunday’s sneak peek.
So what does this mean? It means if you live out side the US, you need to pre-order your copy of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (Blu-ray only) on Amazon UK before this Sunday. It means you need to spread the word to all your friends and family. It means you’d better start planning your #Hobbit2SneakPeek viewing party. It means rainbows and butterflies.
