Swiss premiere of ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’

Last night it was the turn of Zurich to hold a European premiere for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

Cast members Aidan Turner (Kili), Dean O’Gorman (Fili), Sylvester McCoy (Radagast the Brown) were guests at the premiere along with John Howe, the conceptual designer for The Hobbit trilogy.

Many fans had dressed up in Middle-earth fashion for the event and some were invited on to the green carpet to join the cast for photographs, according to Uncanny Bookclub.

There was a Q&A session with the guests before the film started.
