This year marks the sixth anniversary of The Middle Earth Beer & Music Festival in Lancashire, England.Each year the festivities are held in the village of Hurst Green, which is famous for its connections with author JRR Tolkien, and the event itself will be held in the Hurst Green Memorial Hall. Festivities start on today, Thursday, April 24th and continue to Sunday, April 27th
Celebrations include a craft market featuring crafts made by local artisans (Saturday and Sunday only), and of course, an extensive range of great ales, beers and ciders, some sourced locally others from around the country. There will be great local food and fantastic live music throughout the festival. Demonstrations by blacksmiths, glass blowers, and a chainsaw artist promise to make the event fun for all ages.
