Actress Liv Tyler turns 35 today!
While all The Lord of the Rings Motion Picture Trilogy fans will forever remember her role as Arwen Undomiel, Liv Tyler’s acting career started back in 1994 when she played Sylvie Warden in the thriller film, Silent Fall.
Even though it’s widely known Liv is the daughter of Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) the actress did not find out he was her father until she was 8 years of age. She was even cast for her father’s music video “Crazy” and yet had no knowledge he was her biological father at the time. The video went on to become one of VH1’s top 100 music videos.
Liv gave birth to her son, Milo William Langdon on December 14, 2004. Coincidentally, that was also the date the Lord of the Rings Trilogy Platinum Series Special Extended Edition was released.
Her filmography includes Robot and Frank, The Ledge, Super, The Incredible Hulk, The Strangers, Smother, Reign Over Me, Lonesome Jim, Jersey Girl, One Night at McCool’s, Dr T and the Women, Onegin, Cookie’s Fortune, Plunkett & Macleane, Armageddon, U Turn, Inventing the Abbotts, That Thing You Do!, Stealing Beauty, Empire Records, and Heavy.
Liv’s current project is a sci-fi thriller titled The Side Effect where she’ll be playing the character Catherine Rigby. Still in pre-production, the film’s release date is set for 2014.
Here’s wishing Liv a very happy birthday from Middle-earth News!
