Articles written by: Rachel Took

Rachel was transformed from reluctant viewer to die hard fan when she saw The Lord of the Rings for the first time with her younger brother on a borrowed video cassette tape. Now seven years later Rachel has never lost her love for Peter Jackson’s films, but has grown in her passion for Middle Earth, Tolkien’s works, and especially hobbits. When she isn’t pouring over maps of the Shire, Rachel can often be found baking or knitting. She likes to think that she doesn’t ever do anything out of the ordinary, but she always enjoys the little adventures life has to offer, like hiking and taking trips to the city. “I am in fact a hobbit in all but size.” -JRR Tolkien
