Hobbit Cast Get Together In Wellington

Cast members arrived in Wellington today on board The Hobbit plane, for the premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Sylvester McCoy, Aidan Turner, Dean O’Gorman, Graham McTavish and John Callen flew in from London and Los Angeles to be met by Peter Jackson, Martin Freeman, Richard Armitage  and the rest of the Company of Dwarves.
The media joined the flight at Auckland to talk to the stars.  Aidan Turner (Kili) said of the media call on the plane,
“It’s all a bit crazy. This is a bit bit weird,”
Dean O’Gorman (Fili) added,

“My ears are popping and I keep looking out the window and realising we are on a plane.”

The cast get to see the film for the first time today

“We get a cast viewing today in case we hate it,” said Aidan.

Then it would be jumping on a plane back to Dublin quickly.”

John Callen, who plays Oin in the film, commented on the validity of complaints horses were treated badly on set.
“The big question has to do with timing.  My feeling is, if people were 100 per cent genuine in their intentions, then perhaps something should have been done sooner.”
