Well, on Sunday, we’ll find out if it’s won!
The Hobbit received five nominations in the following categories and the nominees were voted for by the general public.
- Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy – The Hobbit: AUJ
- The Art of 3D – The Hobbit: AUJ
- Jameson Best Actor – Martin Freeman
- Best Film – The Hobbit: AUJ
- Best Director – Peter Jackson
The Jameson Empire awards ceremony is on Sunday 24 March at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London and you can watch it as it happens on Empire’s live stream .
Of course, we already know Peter Jackson will not be there as he’s rather busy in New Zealand answering fan questions and giving us a sneak peek of The Desolation of Smaug, but here’s hoping for plenty of other Hobbity guests and a shedload of awards for The Hobbit too!
