In a recent interview with HuffPost Live, Sean Bean sat down to discuss his career filled with onscreen deaths. Sean Bean revealed that his favourite death scene was those of Boromir in The Lord of the Rings and continued to talk about his experience on the set of Peter Jackson’s LOTR:
The death of Boromir was a memorable one for me … The way Peter Jackson shot it, with the music and the photography, it was a very long, heroic death. … That was my favorite one.”
HuffPost Live and Sean Bean also talked about Game of Thrones and Legends, Sean Beans most recent project. In Legends, Sean Bean will portray Martin Odum, a FBI agent who is able to adopt a new identity or legend. After many Sean Bean fans wondered if his character will survive, a #DontKillSeanBean campaign has been launched. Not surprisingly, the campaign went viral. When asked about his ‘deadly’ career, Sean Bean said jokingly that he is “always prepared for [his] demise”.
