The Lord of the Rings concert at New York City’s Lincoln Center has been building up a lot of buzz within the past week, so much so that the Hobbit package is now completely sold out! But don’t worry, if you are planning on going to this event, the Gondor package and individual tickets are still available. It’s pretty amazing how quickly tickets are selling, just goes to show you the passion of Tolkien fans!
If you already bought the Hobbit or Gondor package, or are thinking about getting the Gondor one, have you been wondering what exactly the Post-Concert Shire Reception and Symposium Event entail? The Shire Reception will be held on the evenings of April 10 and 11, and food and beverages will be provided while attendees have the chance to meet, greet, and network. Connecting with fellow fans while chowing down sounds like the perfect evening to me!
The LOTR at Lincoln Center Symposium Event is only available with the Gondor package and will contain panel-like events. This event will take place within the dates of each trilogy viewings and do you know who will be there? The man responsible for LOTR’s beautiful soundtrack, Howard Shore! There will also be other LOTR luminaries present but there is no information yet as to who they will be. The Symposium Event will have many discussions centering around the books, films, concerts, music and mythology of LOTR. More information will be available once we get closer to the concert dates.
