Benedict Cumberbatch Sculpture – in Chocolate

A life-size sculpture of Benedict Cumberbatch has been made – out of chocolate!

Benedict, who plays Smaug in The Hobbit movies, was chosen from a survey for uktvplay as the tastiest man in TV drama.  Sean Bean from The Lord of the Rings was third in the survey, and Aidan Turner and James Nesbitt from The Hobbit were sixth and seventh respectively.

The model of Benedict is made from 40 kg of Belgian chocolate and took a sculptor, chocolatier and six other people 250 hours to make according to BBC Newsround.

The chocolate sculpture was displayed at the Westfield shopping centre in London on 3 April, 2015.
